3 year old cross breed (small)

 

Basil is a very loving and happy little dog, he loves cuddles and likes to wash you, only if he likes you and he very selective. He is great with other dogs his own size (not larger dogs) He does not mind being brushed.

 

However Basil does have some issues, he can get possessive over his human this led to him biting the ankle of a staff member who walked passed his handler at the time (this has not happened again) he can also get possessive over his bed and when on a walk he sometimes wants to chase cars.

 

He will need a child free home and does not seem to have issues with cats.

 

His adopter will need experience with his issues and recognize them and be able to deal with them. He will need a home with only one adult and another dog as he loves small dogs both male and female (Neutered only) and it will benefit him to have canine company- Adopters have tried to befriend him but Basil as of yet has not warmed to any of the people who have visited him – it could take weeks of visits before he will accept you
