Mabel has a history of resource guarding, so her new family must be confident and responsible when managing food, toys and other high-value items.
She needs people who understand that resource guarding should be managed safely and positively. Her adopters will need to give her space, avoid confrontation and use kind, reward-based methods to help her feel safe and secure.
Mabel is not suitable for first-time dog owners and finding the right home for her is incredibly important to us. ❤️
