🐾 Meet Mr Scamp 🐾

Age: 4–5 years old

Mr Scamp came into our care from a veterinary practice after being found with several injuries. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was completely shut down and very hostile towards everyone around him. Despite weeks of care and patience, we saw little improvement and soon realised that this poor boy wasn’t aggressive at all – he was absolutely terrified.

Thankfully, our amazing fosterer Liz stepped in and offered him a safe and quiet place to stay. For the first two months in foster care, Scamp wouldn’t even leave his cat bed. But slowly and surely, he has started to feel a little more comfortable. He now ventures around the house in the evenings and has even allowed Liz and her partner to stroke him a couple of times.

Mr Scamp’s journey is going to be a slow one, but we are committed to giving him all the patience, understanding and calm he deserves while he learns to trust again. One day, we hope he will find the loving forever home he deserves.
