Warburtons Christmas Crum-pet Bed Supports Destitute Animal Shelter
We are absolutely over the moon to share some wonderful Christmas news…
Warburtons have chosen The Destitute Animal Shelter as their charity partner this festive season, by launching the amazing limited-edition Christmas Crum-pet Bed!
This unique and adorable pet bed has been designed to look just like one of Warburtons’ iconic crumpets; pillowy, cosy and perfect for curling up in after a long day of wagging, playing and being generally adorable. And the best part? All proceeds from every single Crum-pet Bed sold will be donated directly to our shelter.
That means more warm beds, more nutritious food, more vital vet care, and more of the comfort and enrichment our dogs and cats rely on every single day. We simply cannot thank Warburtons enough for choosing to support us in such a special (and very cute!) way this Christmas.
A Christmas Gift That Gives Back
With the research clear, 89% of UK dog owners now buy Christmas gifts for their pups – it’s safe to say our furry friends have truly become part of the close family unit. So what better festive treat than a bed inspired by a national favourite?
Available in two sizes (S: £20, L: £25), this cosy creation is the ultimate pampering present, and one that directly helps animals in need right here in Bolton.

Warburtons’ survey shows that pet owners across the UK are planning to spend over £382 million on their dogs this Christmas, with the North West proudly one of the top regions for canine gifting. And when you consider that even nearly half of dog owners admit their pets enjoy the occasional nibble of a crumpet… the Crum-pet Bed suddenly makes perfect sense!
Why This Partnership Means So Much to Us
At The Destitute Animal Shelter, we care for hundreds of lost, unwanted and stray dogs and cats every year. With our non-destruction policy and commitment to neutering every animal we rehome, we work tirelessly to give every pet the second chance they deserve.
Partnerships like this allow us to provide:
Warm and comfortable bedding
Essential veterinary care
Good quality food and enrichment
Stability, love and the best start before finding their forever home
And with rising costs and growing demand, support like this is absolutely invaluable.
Thank You, Warburtons
We cannot wait for our dogs and cats to curl up in their new Crum-pet Beds… they’re going to LOVE them. From all staff, volunteers and furry residents here at the shelter, thank you so much to Warburtons for choosing us this Christmas.
And to everyone who buys a Crum-pet Bed, shares the campaign or spreads the word, you are helping make a world of difference to the animals who need it most.
